In collaboration with Essence Magazine and Ulta Beauty I had the opportunity to be apart of the Girl’s United: Beautiful Possibilities campaign.
About the campaign:
“ESSENCE® and Ulta Beauty® are helping young entrepreneurial girls break into the beauty industry through a new mentoring initiative, Girls United: Beautiful Possibilities. We set out to discover the next wave of passionate and creative leaders with a national casting call to find young girls who love beauty and had big ideas.
Watch as they create an exclusive capsule collection for Ulta Beauty, and hear from ESSENCE and Ulta Beauty mentors, as well as influencers and brand founders. Using their creativity and love for beauty, they will learn from the best and receive $10,000 that can be used for college.”
I had the honor of having two roles in this project. Role A, was to design the branding packaging for the girls collection. The second portion was serving as an mentor in their web series and taking the girls through the process of branding/packaging design.
